Do you want to inspire and empower young people to prepare for the challenges of adult life?
For many young people, the transition to adulthood can be daunting. For those facing additional barriers—whether due to social, emotional, or learning challenges—navigating a path toward independence can feel especially overwhelming. That’s where New Meaning Training (NMT) steps in.
At NMT, we deliver dynamic and supportive learning programmes that equip young people (aged 16-25) with the skills they need for employment, further training, and independent living. Through practical life-skills development, personal growth opportunities, and English and Maths Functional Skills, we aim to remove barriers to success and help learners thrive.
We’re looking for a Sports Tutor who is passionate about supporting young people and understands the patience, empathy, and creativity required to make a meaningful impact. If you have experience working with young people—or the skills and enthusiasm to inspire them—we want to hear from you!
As a Sports Tutor, you’ll work with learners who have a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, attachment disorders, dyslexia, and social-emotional challenges. Many of our learners have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), so your role will include tailoring support to meet their individual goals.
At NMT, no two days are the same. You’ll lead creative and engaging lessons, build lasting relationships, and develop practical life-skills activities that inspire learners to see a brighter future. Whether you’re coaching Functional Skills or encouraging learners to explore career opportunities, your work will have a real and lasting impact.
Join a team that’s committed to creating an energising, inclusive, and supportive environment—where young people can overcome challenges and unlock their full potential.
About Us
